George Panos brings over 30 years of experience across a number of industries including architecture and design, construction, manufacturing, agriculture and professional services.
George has worked for national and international companies including PwC, CSR, GUD group, Boral, Hassell, Architectus and McGregor Coxall.
A qualified lawyer and accountant, George also holds an MBA and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). He has served in both CEO and CFO capacities, demonstrating a deep understanding of executive leadership and governance.
With a strong background in business planning and strategic thinking, he collaborates closely with Boards, CEOs, and Executive Leadership Teams to drive overall performance, strategy, governance, finance, and operations.
George is known for his personable and engaging style, clear conceptual thinking, structured problem solving and compelling communication. He inspires confidence and enthusiasm in his clients, fostering successful business environments.
George currently serves on the boards of two not-for-profit organisations: Spinal Cord Injury Australia (SCIA) and Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS). He is the Board Chair at SCIA and a Non-Executive Director at APLS, where he also serves as Chair of the Risk, Finance, and Audit Committee.
Over the past two decades, George has also run his consultancy, assisting organisations with strategy, business development, and implementation, and provided mentoring to C-suite executives.
